An 18-year-old was shot by Detroit Police Tuesday night following a traffic stop at E Seven Mile and Gratiot. Police say the teen had a gun and ran off. Officers used a taser before firing a single shot. The teen was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Police are reviewing body-cam footage. @local4news @priyakmann | Detroit crime daily

Surveillance footage shows the chilling moment a gunman waited nearly 45 minutes before launching an ambush on businessman Eddie Jawad outside his Macomb Township mansion. The suspect remains at large as authorities intensify their manhunt. Jawad, a prominent gas-station owner, was hit in the leg and suffered glass injuries but survived.
